Welcome to Hache's Design Studio; the Counter Curse
Birthplace of the beautiful, the ugly, the alluring, and all other vivid crawly things.
Opening Day: 2009 : Mar : 03
Still testing browser sizes and types,
best in internet explorer 7 and MSIE 6.0 and above, and Avant 11.7 with XP or higher
Status:
Liquid design recommended for over 800x600. The use of floating layers, invisible png grapgics and percentage positioning reduces it's browser compatibility. Incompatible with: Galeon 2.0.6, MSIE 4.01, Dillo 0.8.6, Opera 10.00-Ubuntu 8.04 and SeaMonkey 2.0. Difficulties with: Firefox, Opera, Shiretoko, Flock, Epiphany, iceweasel and Navigator, Safari is ok. Also the design is much too bright for LCD type screens XP.
Initial Designs:

I first saw this as a heavy flash object or so which aspects within would move relative to the mouse. This was out of the question as I didn't own flash and I was no considering to place heavy javascript or excessive coding just for aesthetic fun. The initial image, there were a variety of tiny particles around the creature as if they were all living together in some liquid substance.
It was originally called the monster as I recently watched the Korean Bong Joon-ho's masterpiece "The Host". Unfortunately I had never seen it before, which ashames me, as it's already a few years old and has won best film in 2006 Korea and 2007 Asia :O. Yeah, Quite late XDD.
